The Breed History Project is an unofficial project whose purpose is to accumulate the history of the Peruvian Horse breed and to make the information available on the NAPHA Website. It is anticipated that it will develop over time and be the result of the efforts of many people who are interested in preserving the memories of the breed. To be included are show records, awards, interesting stories, and pictures of important events, people, and horses that have helped make the breed what it is.
It is preferred that the contributions be in the form of a webpage or website that presents some segment of the breed history. The plan is that the contributed webpage or website will be copied and integrated, as is, into the Breed History Project website with a link to it on the website's index page. The style of the pages is not critical but it should be appropriate for the purpose. Names, dates, place, and contact information is OK but please avoid advertisement of services, products, and other things for sale. This is to be a history and not a classified ads website.
Alternatively, the history can be provided in the form of a text file, a Word document, or PDF. The files will be reformatted and integrated within the website. You may also provide paper copy if the document is rare, contains important historical information, and is a reasonable quality reproduction. It will be scanned and integrated as a PDF image file. The paper copy will not be returned and may not be retained in other than its digitized format.
