We are returning to the Fort Worth area this year with plans for an awesome conference and clinic that you won’t want to miss! We have very special rates this year – but time is short so -MAKE YOUR PLANS TO JOIN US NOW!
Our annual meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Weatherford, TX on Friday March 11, 2016. We will start the day with the always interesting and productive RAC (regional advisory council) business meeting from 9am to noon. This meeting is open to all members, and we encourage you to come and participate with your questions and suggestions.
Lunch will be provided at no charge, and the afternoon will be dedicated to lots of informative and idea-generating discussions with the RAC, members and the NAPHA board of directors. This is the perfect opportunity to meet new people involved with this breed, ask questions, learn about our organization and horses, and participate in helping our breed grow.
On Friday evening, we will be holding a special recognition banquet. As in the past, the purpose of the banquet is to allow us to honor members who have made outstanding contributions to our breed. At this year’s banquet will honor the remarkable on-going achievements of Gene Pepe. We will also honor the contributions, memories and legacies of Cheryl Aldrich and Larry Redman.
On Saturday, March 12, we will be returning to the beautiful 250-acre horse and cattle ranch of members and breeders Horacio and Mary Kay Santos for a clinic which will include much valuable information and hands-on demonstrations. For those of you who joined us for the clinic which our hosts generously held in 2014, you know this is not to be missed. The ranch is conveniently located within a very short drive of our hotel in Weatherford, TX. (9800 FM 920).
The clinic will run from 9am to 5pm and includes a delicious lunch. (Note – the clinic also counts as continuing education for NAPHA judges).
