El Rancho Zorro
We have been breeding and selling Peruvian Horses since 1998. Due to a back injury of my wife, Melody, we purchased a part blood mare in 1996. Looking for a stallion to breed her to led to our purchase of a full blood Peruvian stallion named El Zorro Rojo. She fell in love with this horse, riding him to town and camping alone with him all over the Buffalo River here in NW AR. He was a fantastic ambassador to the breed, giving rides to children and adults alike. This led to our purchasing full Peruvian mares. It has been a joy to raise gentle sane strong trail riding horses for others to enjoy who have back issues and just want to safely enjoy trail riding. We have trained a lot ourselves, although due to age we rarely do this anymore. We have had Eddie Quitierrez train for us lately and he does such a wonderful job that we recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer in our area of the Midwest.
