The NAPHA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Green to the Board. Jackie brings tremendous expertise and enthusiasm to the Board.

Jackie Green’s Bio

I was born in Hudson, NY. I lived in La Paz, Bolivia for a few years as a child and then returned to NY. I now live with my husband Bob, step-son Jesse, and junior rider son, Colin, on a small farm in Streetsboro, OH. We currently own 6.5 Peruvian Pasos and one adorable miniature donkey. The .5 is for the foal out of Soberano CM that we are eagerly expecting next June.

I have ridden horses since I was “hooked” on it at age 2. Throughout my life I rode many different breeds and styles until I became especially involved with dressage and “Baroque” riding. I studied dressage at a riding school in Portugal, and this classical foundation is the driving force behind my riding and work with horses. The Peruvian horse provided me with a very special extension of my studies and has been my single equine passion since I purchased my first Peruvian Paso in 1992.

In addition to taking care of our farm and horses, I have a “day job.” I am an engineer, and work for the Japanese-owned audio manufacturer, Audio-Technica. I am the Vice President of R&D/Engineering, and am on the board of directors. I also have a masters degree in business administration for non-profit organizations.

I hope to use my business experience, my desire to come up with creative solutions, my experience with horses and my passion for the Peruvian Paso horse to serve the board and this breed, and look forward to working together to build an exciting future.”

Please welcome Jackie as NAPHA’s newest member of your Board of Directors.
Ballots will soon be arriving for the elected board position that is currently open.
