Rule Change Approval
The BOD approved the change below to the Rule and Regulations Section 32 i). This change allows all novice riders to be eligible for the annual high point award to be presented at the national show. The Rules Committed and BOD have reviewed comments and approved the rule change at the August 12, 2024 meeting.
‘Novice riders must be a member of NAPHA and in good standing in order to qualify for this award. Points will be counted in all classes restricted to Novice exhibitors at NAPHA approved shows. Novice riders are responsible for completing and turning in the appropriate NAPHA Novice Declaration Form each year prior to the first show exhibitor is competing in. Points to be calculated per NAPHA rules and regulations and awarded to the rider.’
The BOD also approved that this rule change be effective retroactively to the 2023 show year regardless of NAPHA membership. Any Novice exhibitor who paid a NAPHA membership for 2023 will be given a credit for a future membership year. Please contact Becky @ 440-785-1179 with any questions
